The vegetarian flavours of India.

In the Tea & Spice tour we experience the diversity and richness of India’s vegetarian food culture and culinary traditions. We visit the homes of three different women, for cooking classes in their regional cuisine, not only learning about cooking and spices but also getting an insight into their life and culture. We enjoy freshly-brewed masala chai and chaat from the many street food vendors, the feeding of thousands in a Sikh temple, the traditional Rhajasthani thali in romantic Udaipur and delicate Parsi food in Mumbai. We savour the aromas and flavours of the spice bazaars of Kochi, the tea and spice gardens of the Cardamom Hills and Kerala’s sublime backwaters.
But we also take in the main sights in Delhi, Udaipur, Mumbai, Munnar and Kochi. And, of course, we go, as everyone must, to see the pearly beauty of the Taj Mahal and the heritage splendour of Agra Fort.
This will be an exceptional journey; a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Another world will be opened; one of flavour, colour, warmth, friendliness and inspiration.
