Exclusive, photography tours of India.
Photography for amateurs and enthusiasts.
India is photography heaven with variety in culture, geography, wildlife and scenery and people don’t usually mind being photographed.
Liz Light, your Kiwi escort, has won numerous travel photography awards, some for photos taken in India. Liz has visited this magnificently diverse country many times and loves the warm welcome and humour that is special to India, the vegetarian food and, of course, the colour and the myriad of photo-opportunities that make this incredible country a delight for photographers.
The photography tours are luxurious (3 to 4 star), small group (maximum 10) and escorted from New Zealand and are accompanied by a photography-savvy local guide.
We leap in to the crowds of incredible Kolkata, where Victorian architecture and British colonial ways marry Indian ingenuity and vitality. We visit Varanasi, the sacred Hindu city on the Ganges, during the fun-filled Holi festival where colour and light is celebrated amid prayer and foolery.
Bandhavgarh National Park is all about nature, with 40 species of mammals including tigers, leopards, deer, wild boar, bison, sambar, barking deer and langur, some 250 species of birds and several reptiles. This is your best chance to get good shots of legendary tigers.
We then fly to Srinagar and see the big landscapes and soaring peeks of Himalayan Kashmir, the beauty of lake Dahl and the first blooms of spring. The tour finishes with the pearly beauty of Taj Mahal and the bazaars of Delhi.
